And, when writing an essay and you use a character's name, it shows that you know a lot about this particular subject. It gives you a voice and it gives you the ability to present yourself as an expert in the subject.When writing an essay and you use a character's name, you are using it as a voice. That voice is the one that you use to express your own opinion about something.
